Seacom supplies humidity meters, humidity transmitters, temperature and humidity probes, data loggers, recorders and calibration equipment for industrial, commercial and controlled-environment applications.
Reliable humidity measurement helps maintain product quality, process stability, occupant comfort and regulatory compliance. The correct instrument depends on the measurement range, temperature, pressure, installation method, required outputs and whether portable checks or continuous monitoring are needed.
Why accurate humidity measurement matters
Protect product quality - Control moisture-sensitive materials, production processes, storage areas and finished goods.
Improve process stability - Detect changing humidity conditions before they affect drying, coating, printing or manufacturing performance.
Reduce condensation risk - Monitor high-humidity and near-condensing environments with probes designed for demanding conditions.
Control static electricity - Maintain suitable humidity in electronics, cleanrooms, printing and other static-sensitive areas.
Support HVAC efficiency - Measure room, duct and outdoor humidity for reliable building and ventilation control.
Maintain compliant records - Use data loggers and continuous monitoring systems where traceable environmental records and alarms are required.
Need help selecting a humidity meter or transmitter?
Selection should be based on the expected humidity and temperature range, pressure, mounting arrangement, response time, output signal, data-recording requirements and calibration needs. Contact Seacom with your application details for product and model selection.
The Sekonic ST-50A displays temperature and relative humidity and records both on a continuous paper chart.
Electronic temperature and humidity sensing with LCD display.
Optional extension cables for remote sensor placement.
Battery operation or a suitable external DC supply.
Desktop or wall-mounted installation.
Being phased out: confirm availability before ordering. Alternatives include the Sato Sigma II for paper records, Sato SK-L754 for electronic logging and Vaisala viewLinc for centralised monitoring.
The Sekonic ST-50M digital thermohygrograph is discontinued. It combined temperature and humidity measurement with paper chart recording and SD-card storage.
Paper records: consider the Sato Sigma II NSII-Q.
Electronic records: consider the Sato SK-L754 temperature and humidity data logger.
Centralised monitoring and alarms: consider Vaisala RFL100, AP10 and viewLinc.
Contact Seacom to match the replacement to your recording requirements. Features and accessories differ from the original ST-50M.
The Sato Thermohygrograph Sigma II NSII-Q continuously records temperature and relative humidity on an easy-to-read paper chart, providing a visible record without requiring a computer or network.
Temperature ranges of −15 to +40 °C or −10 to +50 °C
Relative-humidity range from 0 to 100 %RH, non-condensing
Selectable 1-day, 7-day or 32-day chart rotation
Transparent cover allows the chart to be viewed while closed
Battery-powered quartz clock with no external supply required
Suitable for warehouses, laboratories, clean areas and production rooms
The compact Vaisala HM40 Series provides reliable humidity and temperature spot checks for HVAC, construction, warehouses, laboratories, museums and industrial applications.
The Vaisala PTU300 combined barometric pressure, relative humidity and temperature in one transmitter. The series is discontinued and has been replaced by a suitable Indigo520 barometric-pressure configuration with an application-specific HMP probe.
Legacy three-in-one pressure, humidity and temperature transmitter
PTU301, PTU303, PTU304, PTU305, PTU307 and PTU308 variants
Former applications include laboratories, meteorology and semiconductor measurement
Current replacement platform: Indigo520 with barometric-pressure measurement
Humidity probe selected according to mounting and process conditions
Existing wiring, outputs and process connections require migration review
The Vaisala HMT120 and HMT130 provide accurate, stable humidity and temperature measurement for cleanrooms, laboratories, data centres and demanding HVAC applications.
Product transition: HMT120/HMT130 are expected to be phased out. For new projects, the Vaisala Origo10 is the recommended replacement platform.
The Vaisala HM70 was a handheld meter for humidity and temperature spot checks, field measurements, data logging and verification of installed Vaisala instruments. It is discontinued and replaced by the Vaisala Indigo80 handheld indicator with an HMP80 probe.
Legacy MI70 handheld indicator with HMP75, HMP76 or HMP77 probe
Relative-humidity measurement from 0 to 100 %RH
Probe-dependent temperature measurement from −70 to +180 °C
Numerical and graphical display with portable data recording
Current replacement: Indigo80 with HMP80N or HMP80L
HMP80N for general measurements; HMP80L for extended temperature reach
The Vaisala HMW90 Series provides high-accuracy humidity and temperature measurement for demanding indoor HVAC and controlled-environment applications.
Humidity accuracy up to ±1.7% RH
Analog or Modbus RTU output models
Optional display and configurable relay
Replaceable measurement module with calibration certificate
