The Vaisala CARBOCAP® Carbon Dioxide Probe GMP251 is an intelligent, stand-alone, %-level probe for measuring CO2 in life science incubators, cold storage facilities, fruit and vegetable transportation, and in all demanding applications where stable and accurate percentage-level CO2 measurements are needed. The operating temperature range is -40 … +60 °C and the measurement range is 0 … 20%CO2.

The GMP251 is based on Vaisala’s unique,second-generation CARBOCAP® technology that enables exceptional stability. A new type of infrared (IR) light source is used instead of the traditional incandescent light bulb, which extends the lifetime of the GMP251. It has full temperature and pressure compensations of CO2 measurement – integrated temperature measurement for compensation purposes. The sensor head is heated to prevent condensation. The Vaisala CARBOCAP® Carbon Dioxide Probe GMP252 is an intelligent, stand-alone, ppm-level probe. It's intended for measuring CO2 in agriculture, refrigeration, greenhouses, demanding HVAC applications, and for plant growth chamber manufacturers. It is suitable for harsh and humid CO2 measurement environments where stable and accurate ppm-level CO2 measurements are needed. The operating temperature range is -40 … +60 °C and the measurement range is 0 … 10 000 ppm CO2, and  even up to 30 000 ppm CO2  with a slightly reduced accuracy. 

The GMP252 can also be placed inside the Vaisala Radiation Shield DTR250 for measuring dynamically outdoor CO2 levels.

The GMP252 probe is part of the Indigo product family and can also be connected to the Indigo500 and Indigo200 series transmitters to extend its features, for example, for a display or relays.

The GMP252 can also be used with with the free Insight PC Software.

Flagship Humidity and Temperature Transmitter HMT330 Series

Vaisala HMT330 series are easy-to-use transmitters for demanding industrial and air conditioning applications. The transmitters measure relative humidity and temperature and from these calculate dew point and wet bulb temperature, mixing ratio and absolute humidity. They can be configured to the customer's requirements on the production line, but configuration and parameters can also be set by the user. The series has both analogue and serial outputs as well as several options: different cable lengths, power supply modules and serial interface modules as well as a local display.

Humidity and Temperature Transmitter for Clean Room HMT120 / HMT130

The current loop-powered, two-wire transmitter is called the Vaisala HMT120 and the three-wire transmitter - with voltage and serial line outputs as well as a relay - is called the Vaisala HMT130. The new transmitters utilize the fully interchangeable HMP110 probe.

The transmitters replace with enhanced features the currently very successful HMT100 transmitters. Vaisala HUMICAP® Humidity and Temperature Transmitter Series HMDW110 measure relative humidity and temperature in multiple HVAC applications. The series includes transmitters for duct mounting, IP65-classified wall transmitters, and outdoor transmitters with integrated radiation shields.

Vaisala HMDW110 series transmitters are equipped with trusted HUMICAP® 180R sensors. They are individually adjusted and delivered with a calibration certificate. The factory calibration is traceable to NIST. Transmitters can be field-calibrated using either an HM70 Hand-Held Humidity and Temperature Meter, or a PC connection.

Incubator CO₂ Probe GMP231

The Vaisala CARBOCAP® Carbon Dioxide Probe GMP231 is designed to provide incubator manufacturers with accurate and reliable carbon dioxide measurements and sterilization durability at high temperatures, up to 180 °C. The GMP231 probe is based on Vaisala’s patented CARBOCAP® technology and a new type of infrared (IR) light source. 

The GMP231 probe’s sensor performance is optimized at 5 % CO2  but the sensor measures CO2 up to 20 % with high accuracy. The GMP231 is t's installed through the incubator wall; only the IR sensor and optical components are exposed to the incubation environment. 

In addition, the GMP231 can measure pressure and temperature for CO2 measurement compensation purposes, ensuring the product remains stable and accurate in all CO2 incubation conditions.

The sensor is made of highly durable materials to achieve outstanding stability over both time and temperature. Since water vapor, dust, and most chemicals do not affect measurements, the GMP231 module is ideal for CO2 incubator environments.

Vaisala's HMT360 humidity and temperature transmitter is designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The electronics are designed so that the transmitter is intrinsically safe. The whole transmitter can be installed directly into an explosive area, even into areas classified as having a constant risk of explosion (Zone 0). HMT360 fulfils all requirements of current standards. The microprocessor-based HMT360 is easy to install, maintain and calibrate due to its modular structure. The interchangeable probes are easy to remove and enable on-site calibration. They make the HMT360 series versatile and ensure its suitability for almost any application.

The intrinsically safe Vaisala  HMT370EX is the ideal solution for use in hazardous areas up to zone 0 and 20. In addition to measuring relative humidity and temperature, the transmitter outputs also other humidity parameters: dew point temperature, wet-bulb temperature, absolute humidity, mixing ratio, water concentration, water mass fraction, water vapor pressure, and enthalpy. Special models for moisture in oil and jet fuel measurements are available.

Typical applications include fuel storage tanks, manufacturing of chemicals, pharmaceuticals and food, biogas production' paint booths and any other industry or process where intrinsically safe humidity or moisture in oil measurement is required. 

This next-generation HMT370EX transmitter replaces the long-running HMT360 transmitter series.

They are easy to integrate and can be used in Vaisala DM70 hand-held. The long version has replaced the DMT242.
