Humidity Meters (Hygrometers), Temperature & Humidity Recorders and & Dataloggers in Malaysia
Need to check the humidity in a room, investigate changing conditions or keep a record over several days? Seacom supplies humidity meters, temperature and humidity data loggers, and chart recorders for different measurement tasks.
Our range includes instruments from Vaisala, Sato, Dickson and Sekonic. Tell us where you will measure and what you need to do with the readings. We can help you compare suitable instruments, probes and recording options.

Handheld Meters for Spot Checks
A handheld meter is useful when you need to move between measurement points: checking an air-conditioned room, comparing storage locations or investigating a difference between installed sensors.
- Vaisala HM40 — a compact option for routine humidity and temperature spot checks.
- Vaisala Indigo80 with HMP80 — for portable humidity and temperature measurements, data logging and comparison with installed instruments.
For the Indigo80, select the probe to match the measurement. The HMP80 measures humidity and temperature; other compatible probes serve different applications.
Data Loggers for Understanding Changes Over Time
A spot reading may miss changes overnight, during a production cycle or when doors are opened. A data logger helps you see when conditions change and how long those changes last.
The Sato SK-L754 temperature and humidity data logger is an option for local recording. Within the same family, the SK-L751 is a temperature-only logger, so the model and probe should be selected carefully.
For connected monitoring, the category also includes Vaisala and Dickson logger options. Let us know whether you need local records, remote access or notifications when readings move outside your limits.
Chart Recorders for a Visible Paper Record
If your team prefers to inspect and file a physical chart, consider a thermohygrograph or temperature and humidity chart recorder.
The Sato Sigma II NSII-Q records temperature and relative humidity on paper. Other options in this category include Sato compact thermohygrographs, Dickson chart recorders and Sekonic electronic thermohygrographs.
When replacing an existing recorder, send us its model number and a photo of the chart. Matching the chart scale, recording period and consumables is part of selecting a suitable replacement.
What Should You Check Before Ordering?
- Measurement conditions: expected humidity and temperature, including any unusually hot, cold or damp conditions.
- Required accuracy: the tolerance your application needs at its actual operating conditions.
- Probe arrangement: a built-in sensor for room checks or a remote probe to reach the measurement point.
- Recording requirements: spot readings, electronic data or a paper chart.
- Alarms and access: whether someone will check the instrument locally or needs remote notifications.
- Calibration: certificate requirements and how the instrument will be checked throughout its service life.
Need Fixed Measurement or Continuous Monitoring?
For permanent measurement connected to a building or process control system, explore our humidity transmitters.
If you need multiple monitoring points, central records and alarm management, explore our continuous monitoring systems. A standalone logger and a complete monitoring system serve different needs; we can help you decide which arrangement fits your application.
Need Help Choosing a Humidity Meter or Recorder?
Send us your application, expected measurement range and whether you need spot checks, stored readings or a paper record. If you are replacing an instrument, include the existing model number or a photo.
