The Vaisala HMD60 Series provides high-accuracy humidity and temperature measurement for demanding HVAC ducts and light-industrial applications.
The Vaisala HUMICAP® HMD60 Series is designed for accurate humidity and temperature measurement in demanding HVAC ducts and light-industrial applications. Its high measurement performance, durable metal enclosure and resistance to dust and chemicals make it suitable for cleanrooms, laboratories, museums and critical air-handling systems.
The series includes analog humidity-and-temperature and temperature-only models, together with a digital model supporting Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP. Every HMD60 Series transmitter is supplied with a traceable calibration certificate.
The HMD60 Series measures relative humidity from 0–100% RH with accuracy up to ±1.5% RH from 0–90% RH at 0 to +40 °C. Temperature accuracy reaches ±0.1 °C under specified conditions.
The stainless-steel probe operates from −40 to +80 °C, while the IP66 cast-aluminium enclosure protects the electronics in demanding plant-room and industrial environments. A sintered filter allows use at duct air speeds up to 50 m/s.
Choose HMD62 for loop-powered 4–20 mA humidity and temperature outputs, TMD62 for temperature-only 4–20 mA output, or HMD65 when voltage outputs and digital building-automation communication are required.
The HMD65 provides two 0–10 V outputs and an isolated RS-485 interface. Modbus RTU or BACnet MS/TP can be selected and configured using on-board switches or Vaisala Insight PC software.
In addition to relative humidity and temperature, configurable models can provide dew point, dew/frost point, absolute humidity, mixing ratio, wet-bulb temperature and enthalpy. Select the required parameters and output scaling according to the building-management or process-control system.

Quick selection: choose HMD62 for conventional 4–20 mA humidity and temperature signals, TMD62 when only temperature is required, or HMD65 for 0–10 V outputs with Modbus RTU or BACnet MS/TP communication.
All three families provide duct-mounted humidity and temperature measurement. Select the series according to the required accuracy, enclosure construction, output interface, calibration documentation and project budget.

Quick selection: choose HMD60 when the highest accuracy, a metal IP66 enclosure or BACnet is required. Choose HMD110 for a strong balance of accuracy, IP65 protection and traceable calibration. Choose HMD80 for routine HVAC projects where standard accuracy and lower cost are the priorities.
Before ordering, confirm whether humidity and temperature or temperature only must be measured, the required accuracy, duct temperature, maximum air speed, output signal, communication protocol, calculated parameters, sensor type and calibration requirements.
For digital integration, provide the controller protocol, RS-485 network settings and available power supply. For analog models, confirm the controller input type, loop resistance and required measurement scaling.
