In 1931, Professor Vilho Väisälä found a fallen Russian radiosonde. He admired its idea to use radio technology to retrieve observation results but, an innovator at heart, wanted to improve it to his quality standards. 

Väisälä finalized his famous innovation in 1936, founded Vaisala, and sold the first radiosonde pieces to MIT, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. A new global technology pioneer was born.

Humidity And Temperature Transmitters For High-Accuracy Measurements In HVAC Applications

Vaisala HUMICAP® Humidity and Temperature Transmitter Series HMDW110 measure relative humidity and temperature in multiple HVAC applications. The series includes transmitters for duct mounting, IP65-classified wall transmitters, and outdoor transmitters with integrated radiation shields.

Vaisala HMDW110 series transmitters are equipped with trusted HUMICAP® 180R sensors. They are individually adjusted and delivered with a calibration certificate. The factory calibration is traceable to NIST. Transmitters can be field-calibrated using either an HM70 Hand-Held Humidity and Temperature Meter, or a PC connection.

Hydrogen Peroxide, Humidity, And Temperature Probe

Vaisala HPP270 series is designed for demanding hydrogen peroxide bio-decontamination where repeatable, stable, and accurate measurement is essential.

The Vaisala HPP270 probe is suitable for a variety of applications such as isolator, material transfer hatch and room biodecontamination.

Instrinsically Safe Humidity and Humidity Transmitter

Vaisala's HMT360 humidity and temperature transmitter is designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The electronics are designed so that the transmitter is intrinsically safe. The whole transmitter can be installed directly into an explosive area, even into areas classified as having a constant risk of explosion (Zone 0). HMT360 fulfils all requirements of current standards. The microprocessor-based HMT360 is easy to install, maintain and calibrate due to its modular structure. The interchangeable probes are easy to remove and enable on-site calibration. They make the HMT360 series versatile and ensure its suitability for almost any application.

Miniature Dew Point Transmitters

Miniature size dew point transmitters DMT143 and DMT143L are ideal choices when you want to measure dew point accurately in small compressed air dryers, plastic dryers, additive manufacturing and other OEM applications. They are easy to integrate and can be used in Vaisala DM70 hand-held. The long version has replaced the DMT242.

Oil Moisture Transmitter

Series for Vaisala Oil Moisture Transmitter MMT330 enables fast and reliable detection of moisture in oil. The MMT330 can be used in on-line moisture monitoring and as a control device, allowing separators and oil driers to be started only when needed. Proper monitoring saves both oil and the environment. Portable Dewpoint Meter / Moisture in SF6 Meter

The Vaisala DM70 Hand-held Dew point Meter measures dew point temperature accurately in a wide measurement range: from -60ºC to +60ºC. DM70 incorporate Vaisala's advanced DRYCAP technology, which enables reliable and high performance dew point measurement. The probe withstands condensation and also measures directly in pressurized spaces. It also has a versatile and easy-to-use menu based user interface and clear graphical LCD display with data-logger function. It can also be used as a tool for reading the output of fixed Vaisala dew point transmitters like DMT340 It has a truly fast response time between start-up from ambient conditions to low and high process dew points.

Portable Humidity and Temperature Meter

The Vaisala HM40 is a compact, robust and affordable hand-held meter for various portable measurement applications. It is an ideal spot-checking tool that is easy to use and provides reliable measurement. The HM40 hand-held utilizes the interchangeable HMP110 probe that was launched earlier this year and is equipped with the latest humidity sensor technology, the HUMICAP® 180R.

Temperature And RH Data Recorder (FDA Approved)

The Vaisala 2000 recorder combines internal temperature and RH sensors with an optional external channel for either current or voltage inputs for recording parameters such as differential pressure, CO2, level, particles, or conductivity. The Vaisala 2000 recorder can include a Boolean channel for door switches or alarm contacts.


Wi-Fi Data Logger (FDA Approved)

The Vaisala HMT140 wireless data logger is designed for humidity, temperature and analog signal monitoring in warehouses, freezer and cryogenic farms, laboratories, blood banks and many other life science applications.

The Vaisala HMT140 incorporates Vaisala HUMICAP® technology to measure relative humidity and temperature accurately and reliably. The Vaisala HUMICAP sensor is resistant to dust and most chemicals. Alternatively, the Vaisala HMT140 can connect to Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs), Voltage, Current and Contact sensors, making the Vaisala HMT140 the most versatile Vaisala data logger for life science applications.

Wind Speed, Wind Direction / Weather Transmitter

The Vaisala WXT530 is a series of weather instruments that provides six of the most important weather parameters, which are air pressure, temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed and direction through various combinations.

With the help of the built in analog to digital converters, you can turn the Vaisala Weather Transmitter WXT530 into a small, cost effective weather parameter hub. Additional parameters include the solar radiation and external temperature sensor. Further, the analog mA output for wind speed and direction enables wide variety of industrial applications.

The WXT530 Series has a unique Vaisala solid state sensor technology. The precipitation measurement is based on the unique acoustic Vaisala RAINCAP Sensor without flooding, clogging, wetting, and evaporation losses.
