Sekonic ST-50 Series: Product Status and Replacement Enquiries

The ST-50 series records temperature and relative humidity. Please note the following product status before specifying these models for a new installation.

  • Sekonic ST-50A Digital Thermohygrograph — Phasing out. Provides temperature and humidity measurement with paper chart recording. Contact Seacom to confirm availability before ordering or including this model in a new project specification.
  • Sekonic ST-50M Digital Thermohygrograph — Discontinued. Combined paper chart recording with memory-card recording. Product information is retained for existing users and replacement enquiries.

Replacing an Existing Temperature and Humidity Recorder?

Tell us whether you need a paper chart, digital data storage, a local display or alarm functions. These requirements help determine the appropriate replacement rather than choosing by measurement range alone.

  • Paper chart recording — specify the chart duration, reading intervals and the records your team needs to retain.
  • Digital data logging — specify the recording interval, data export requirements and expected monitoring period.
  • Installation requirements — include the temperature and humidity range, sensor location and available power supply.
  • Existing recorder enquiries — provide the model number and photographs of the instrument or consumable so we can check compatibility and availability.

Sekonic ST-50M Digital Thermohygrograph — Discontinued

The Sekonic ST-50M digital thermohygrograph is discontinued. It combined temperature and humidity measurement with paper chart recording and SD-card storage.

  • Paper records: consider the Sato Sigma II NSII-Q.
  • Electronic records: consider the Sato SK-L754 temperature and humidity data logger.
  • Centralised monitoring and alarms: consider Vaisala RFL100, AP10 and viewLinc.

Contact Seacom to match the replacement to your recording requirements. Features and accessories differ from the original ST-50M.

Sekonic ST-50A Digital Temperature and Humidity Chart Recorder

The Sekonic ST-50A displays temperature and relative humidity and records both on a continuous paper chart.

  • Electronic temperature and humidity sensing with LCD display.
  • Optional extension cables for remote sensor placement.
  • Battery operation or a suitable external DC supply.
  • Desktop or wall-mounted installation.

Being phased out: confirm availability before ordering. Alternatives include the Sato Sigma II for paper records, Sato SK-L754 for electronic logging and Vaisala viewLinc for centralised monitoring.
