Match the Probe to Your Thermometer

Check the thermocouple input type and connector before choosing a probe. A matching plug shape alone does not establish compatibility. The usable measurement range is limited by both the probe configuration and the connected instrument.

Information to Include in Your Enquiry

  • Measurement target: material, shape and whether it is stationary or moving.
  • Temperature: normal operating range and highest expected temperature.
  • Access: contact area, insertion depth, pipe diameter or available clearance.
  • Operating conditions: surface speed, moisture, cleaning requirements or chemical exposure.
  • Instrument: thermometer model, thermocouple type and a photograph of the connector.
  • Existing probe: full model code, required cable length and quantity.
