The Anritsu AM-9000 Series records temperature from six or twelve thermocouple channels in one portable instrument. Choose a fixed thermocouple-type model or a flexible multi-input model for temperature and DC-voltage measurement.
The Anritsu Meter AM-9000 Series is designed for applications where several temperatures must be viewed and recorded together. It combines a clear graphical display, multi-channel thermocouple inputs, high-speed measurement intervals and internal data memory in a portable instrument.
Recorded data can be transferred to a computer through USB and analysed with the optional AMS-950 software. The instrument can operate from four AA alkaline batteries for field work or from the optional AC adaptor for longer measurements.

The AM-9000 Series succeeds the older Anritsu AM-8000 Series. The AM-9000 range uses USB communication and provides 120,000-data memory across both the 6-channel and 12-channel models. Check probe connectors, thermocouple type, software and accessories when replacing an older logger.

The interval can be set from sub-second high-speed sampling to long-duration logging. AM-9000 fixed-input 6-channel models support intervals from 0.10 to 0.99 second in 0.01-second steps. The other models support sub-second intervals from 0.20 to 0.99 second. All models support intervals from 1 second to 99 minutes 59 seconds.
| 12-channel interval | Approximate continuous battery operation |
|---|---|
| 0.2 second | 50 hours |
| 1 second | 55 hours |
| 10 seconds | 140 hours |
Battery figures are reference values at 25 °C using alkaline AA batteries. Using fewer than twelve channels may extend operation. Use the optional AC adaptor for long-duration tests where uninterrupted power is required.

Thermocouple probes should be selected separately according to the surface, air, liquid, internal, moving-object or specialised measurement. Probe temperature range, response time, cable construction and connector type must match the application and logger.
Seacom Process Instruments supplies the Anritsu AM-9000 Series multi-channel temperature data logger together with suitable Anritsu temperature probes and accessories. Our team can help match the channel count, input arrangement, thermocouple type, measurement range, sampling interval and probe construction to the actual test.
Send us the number of points, temperature range, measurement target, test duration and required data output. We will help you choose between the AM-9000, AM-9100, AM-9200 and AM-9300 and identify the appropriate probe configuration.
