- Surface and temperature: Tell us the material, surface shape and normal and maximum operating temperatures.
- Measurement access: Describe how the probe will be held and any restrictions around the target.
- Stationary or moving target: State whether the surface moves, including its speed where applicable, so the appropriate configuration can be checked.
