Seacom Process Instruments Sdn Bhd has been working with industrial measurement instruments since 1986. From our offices in Subang Jaya and Penang, we support engineers, maintenance teams, consultants, contractors and purchasing departments throughout Malaysia.
Some customers know exactly which model they need. Others have an instrument to replace, a new project to plan or a reading that does not seem right. Whatever the starting point, we welcome the opportunity to understand the application and help work through the options.
You do not need a complete specification to contact us. A model number, photograph, drawing or a short explanation of the problem is often enough to begin the conversation.
Understanding What You Need
Choosing an instrument involves more than its measuring range and accuracy. It also needs to suit the medium, fit the installation and work with the equipment already on site.
We will usually ask about the operating temperature and pressure, process connection, required output and how the measurement will be used. For a replacement, we also look at what the existing instrument does and whether anything has changed since it was installed.
Sometimes the answer is a straightforward meter. Other applications need a particular probe, mounting accessory, sampling arrangement or monitoring software. Our role is to help bring those details together so you know what you are ordering and why it has been proposed.
The Measurements We Work With
Humidity and Temperature
We help customers select instruments for room conditions, air-handling systems, production processes and field checks. This includes humidity transmitters, portable thermometers and specialised temperature probes for different surfaces, liquids and gases.
The probe and installation matter as much as the instrument itself. We consider where the reading will be taken, how quickly it needs to respond and how the sensor will be checked or calibrated.

Dew Point and Dry Gases
Compressed-air dryers, nitrogen supplies and dry-process environments can have very different measurement requirements. We help review the expected dew point, operating pressure and sampling conditions before selecting a fixed transmitter or portable meter.

Flow Measurement
Our flow measurement work includes oil, diesel, water and other industrial fluids. We review the fluid properties, flow range, pipe size, pressure and temperature, together with any requirements for local indication, totalising or connection to another system.
Whether you are replacing an existing flowmeter or specifying a new measurement point, details of the fluid and installation help us narrow down the suitable options.
Continuous Environmental Monitoring
For facilities that need ongoing records and alarms, we support the selection and planning of continuous monitoring systems. Applications include pharmaceutical storage, laboratories, cleanrooms, refrigerators, freezers and other controlled environments.
These projects involve more than choosing a sensor. Monitoring locations, communications, alarm response, reporting and calibration need to be considered together. Where GxP or validation documentation is required, we discuss it early so the proposed scope reflects the facility's needs.

Support Beyond the Initial Order
Instruments often remain in service for many years. A probe may need replacing, a model may be discontinued or an existing monitoring system may need additional points. Having someone familiar with the equipment can make the next step easier.
When you return to us, we start with what is already installed and what you need to achieve. Depending on the product and agreed scope, we can assist with configuration, installation guidance, commissioning, troubleshooting and calibration planning.
We will explain when further information or a manufacturer review is needed, and clarify the support included in the proposal.
