Isuzu TH27R Discontinued — Consumables and Replacement Guidance

The complete Isuzu TH27R recorder is discontinued. Keep an existing unit in service only while it remains suitable and serviceable. Seacom can check selected TH27R chart papers and recording pens against the recorder and existing consumable details.

For a new paper temperature-and-humidity recorder, consider the current Sato Sigma II NSII-Q. It performs the same basic recording function, but it is not a direct drop-in replacement and uses different chart papers and pens.

About the Isuzu TH27R Thermohygrograph

The Isuzu TH27R records temperature and relative humidity continuously on a cylindrical paper chart. It has been used in warehouses, laboratories, production areas, museums, archives and other locations where staff need a visible local record without software or network infrastructure.

This page is retained to help existing TH27R owners identify their instrument, find compatible consumables and compare a current replacement. It should not be used to specify the discontinued recorder for a new project.

Compatibility warning: similar-looking charts can have different time scales, temperature ranges, centre holes or printed arcs. Pens can also differ in arm fit and tip position. Do not order by appearance alone.

Isuzu TH27R Chart Paper and Recording Pens

When requesting consumables, provide as much of the following information as possible:

  • Recorder model and a clear photograph of the nameplate
  • Part number printed on the existing chart paper
  • Temperature and humidity scales printed on the chart
  • Recording period, such as 1, 7, 31 or 62 days
  • Photographs of the installed pens and recording arms
  • Required quantity and destination country

Supply remains subject to compatibility and stock confirmation. A chart or pen should not be assumed compatible merely because it fits another cylindrical recorder.
