Mini-Cube or Sigma II: Which Recorder Should You Choose?

Choose Mini-Cube when space is limited and a weekly paper record meets your accuracy requirements. Choose Sigma II when you need finer chart graduations, tighter measurement accuracy or a choice of recording periods.

The Sigma II column covers both NSII-Q 7210-00 and 7211-00. Their shared specifications are shown once; the temperature ranges are identified separately.

Use the Mini-Cube chart reference when ordering. Mini-Star paper has the same physical size but a different temperature scale, so it must not be substituted simply because it fits the drum.

For older pen references such as 7210-90 or 7210-92, send the existing packaging or a photograph so the current matching consumable can be checked.

Standard Accessories

Sato lists 55 sheets of seven-day chart paper, one AA zinc-carbon battery and an instruction manual as standard accessories.

Using a Weekly Paper Record

Include chart changes, pen checks and battery checks in your inspection routine. Mark each chart with the location and recording dates so the record remains useful after filing. Position the recorder where it represents the conditions you intend to monitor, away from local heat sources and direct sunlight.
