Hyoda M Series Fluid-Filled Dial Thermometers

The Hyoda M Series provides remote temperature indication through a sensing bulb and capillary tube.

Hyoda M Series Fluid-Filled Dial Thermometers

The Hyoda M Series provides dial temperature indication using a sensing bulb connected to the instrument by a capillary tube. Its wall-mounted arrangement allows the dial to be positioned separately from the measurement point.

Choose an indication-only thermometer or a version with pointer contacts for a compatible alarm or control circuit. Specify the dial size, temperature scale, sensing bulb, connection and capillary arrangement to suit the installation.

The Fluid-Filled Thermometer Range is an overview listing, not a single model with one specification. Compare the exact model, temperature scale, sensing bulb, connection and mounting before ordering. S6 and M6 both have 150 mm dials, but this does not establish interchangeability.

Choosing the Right Configuration

  • Temperature scale: provide the normal operating temperature and the expected minimum and maximum.
  • Dial visibility: choose the dial diameter according to the mounting location and reading distance.
  • Sensing bulb and connection: confirm the required insertion length, bulb diameter, process connection and any thermowell dimensions.
  • Capillary routing: measure the route between the sensing point and dial, allowing for installation access and protection from damage.
  • Enclosure: choose the protection rating for the installation environment. IP65 does not specify suitability for immersion.
  • Electrical contacts: confirm the switching requirement and circuit compatibility when selecting a contact-equipped model.
