Anritsu HD Series Handheld Thermometers — Discontinued

The Anritsu HD Series is discontinued. For new purchases, see the Anritsu HR Series handheld thermometers. This page helps identify older HD instruments and select the appropriate replacement.

HD-1200 and HD-1250 were standard models within a wider range that included basic, alarm, LED-display and memory instruments. The full model number matters when replacing an existing unit.

Can Existing HD Probes Be Reused?

Check the probe before replacing the thermometer. Provide its complete order code and a photograph of the connector so Seacom can assess compatibility.

  • Input type: match Type K probes to a Type K instrument, and Type E probes to a Type E instrument.
  • Connector: confirm ASP or ANP; do not select solely by the appearance of the sensing head.
  • Temperature limits: the usable range is limited by both the instrument and the probe assembly.
  • Condition: inspect the sensing element, lead and plug, particularly if readings have become unstable.
  • Accessories: verify output cables, data-transfer accessories and software separately.
