Sato SK-1260 Waterproof Digital Thermometer with Memory and Alarm

The Sato SK-1260 is a handheld digital thermometer with memory and high/low alarms, supporting dedicated thermistor and Type K thermocouple probes.

Sato SK-1260 Digital Thermometer with Memory and Alarm

The Sato SK-1260 is a handheld thermometer that accepts dedicated Type K thermocouple and thermistor probes. It combines temperature measurement, stored readings and high/low alarms for checks in food production, laboratories, factories and construction applications.

Choose a probe for the material, measuring range and access available. Thermistor probes suit lower-temperature measurement tasks, while Type K options cover a wider range of temperatures and surface-probe designs.

Water protection: IPX4 covers water splashes from any direction. It does not mean the thermometer can be immersed. Follow the operating instructions and the protection limits of the selected probe and connections.

The SK-S100K standard probe is rated from −100 to 300°C. The thermometer’s wider input range does not extend the probe rating. Additional probe types are selected separately.

Accuracy: Main Unit and Probe

Main-unit accuracy and probe accuracy are separate specifications. Select the complete measurement system for the required tolerance; the thermometer’s resolution is not its measurement accuracy.

For the applicable thermistor probes, Sato specifies probe accuracy of ±(0.1% of reading + 0.2)°C from 0 to 150°C and ±(0.2% of reading + 0.4)°C elsewhere within the probe’s rated range. Type K probe tolerances vary by model. Confirm the required calibration points when ordering.

The earlier SK-S107K listing also references a 0 to 1,250°C option with an 8 mm diameter × 1,000 mm sensing stem. Ask us to confirm this configuration separately; it is not the standard 4.8 mm probe specification.

Additional Probe Option

Sato also lists SK-S110K (8080-42), an ultra-thin immersion probe rated from 0 to 200°C, with a 2 mm diameter × 85 mm sensing section and a 3 m Teflon cable. Ask us to confirm suitability for your installation.

Printing Stored Readings

Sato currently lists the DPU-S445 dedicated printer kit, catalogue number 8080-10, for printing readings stored in the SK-1260. The kit includes the required communication cable set, AC adapter and a roll of thermal paper.
