Anritsu HHT Series High-Temperature Surface Probes

The Anritsu HHT Series is designed for contact measurement of high-temperature surfaces. Select the probe configuration to match your operating temperature, measurement position and thermometer.

  • Type K thermocouple probes.
  • HHT-4 configuration examples: −50 to 800°C.
  • HHT-5 configuration examples: 300 to 1100°C.
  • Different probe configurations to suit access to the measurement point.

Anritsu HHT Series High-Temperature Surface Probes

The Anritsu HHT Series is designed for contact measurement of high-temperature surfaces. Choose the probe configuration according to the surface temperature, measurement position and connected thermometer.

  • Type K thermocouple probes for high-temperature surface measurement.
  • HHT-4 configuration examples cover −50 to 800°C.
  • HHT-5 configuration examples cover 300 to 1100°C.
  • Different probe configurations are available to suit access to the measurement point.

Selecting an HHT Surface Probe

  • Operating range: Provide the lowest, normal and highest surface temperatures. The HHT-5 examples start at 300°C, so they should not be selected simply as a wider-range substitute for HHT-4.
  • Measurement access: Describe the target surface and available approach to help select the probe geometry and reach.
  • Contact conditions: Tell us whether the surface is stationary or moving and whether measurements will be occasional or repeated.
  • Instrument compatibility: Provide the thermometer model so its Type K input, temperature range and connector can be checked.

Probe life depends on operating temperature and contact conditions. Anritsu's published contact-endurance figures decrease at higher temperatures; they should not be treated as a service-life guarantee.
