Hyoda KME-2 & KME-4 Temperature Controllers with Microswitch

The Hyoda KME-2 and KME-4 provide temperature switching through a remote sensing bulb and one microswitch contact.

  • KME-2 includes a temperature indicator.
  • KME-4 operates without a temperature indicator.
  • Liquid-filled and gas-filled configurations.
  • Wall-mounted enclosure with IP43 drip-proof protection.
  • Published contact rating: AC 125 V or 250 V / 5 A.

Hyoda KME-2 and KME-4 Temperature Controllers with Microswitch

The Hyoda KME-2 and KME-4 are fluid-filled temperature controllers with a remote sensing bulb and one microswitch contact. Their wall-mounted arrangement allows the switching instrument to be installed separately from the measurement point.

Choose KME-2 when local temperature indication is needed, or KME-4 when switching is required without a local indicator. Specify the temperature scale, sensing bulb, connection and capillary arrangement for the installation.

Range coverage describes available configurations, not the scale of every instrument. Confirm the selected standard scale, switching point, bulb dimensions, connection and permissible capillary length before ordering.

KME-2: With Temperature Indicator

A practical choice when an operator needs to read the temperature at the controller as well as use its switching contact.

Hyoda KME-2 temperature controller with indicator and dimensional information

KME-4: Without Temperature Indicator

Suitable when the application needs the switching function and a local temperature display is not required.

Hyoda KME-4 temperature controller without indicator and dimensional information

Choosing the Right Configuration

  • Temperature: provide the operating range, expected extremes and required switching point.
  • Local reading: decide whether the operator needs an indicator at the controller.
  • Electrical circuit: specify voltage, current and load type so contact suitability can be checked.
  • Sensing bulb: confirm insertion length, diameter, process connection and any thermowell dimensions.
  • Capillary route: measure the route from the sensing point to the controller, allowing for installation access and protection from damage.
  • Environment: check that IP43 protection suits the mounting location and exposure.
