Vaisala DL2000 Temperature and Humidity Data Logger

Product lifecycle notice: The DL2000 is scheduled for future discontinuation. Confirm availability before specifying it for a new project. For new continuous-monitoring systems, consider the Vaisala VDL200 with suitable smart probes.

The Vaisala DL2000 combines stable internal temperature and relative-humidity measurement with autonomous data recording. Selected models also provide an analog input for another transmitter or Boolean inputs for door switches and alarm contacts.

This combination allows one logger to monitor room conditions together with parameters such as differential pressure, CO₂, level, conductivity or door status. Measurements are stored at the point of measurement, protecting the record during network or mains-power interruptions.

Connected to the Vaisala viewLinc Continuous Monitoring System, the DL2000 provides historical and real-time data, remote alarms and controlled reporting. It can also be used with Vaisala vLog for validation, graphing and reporting.

Current Replacement Platform: Vaisala VDL200

The Vaisala VDL200 is the latest-generation replacement platform for DL2000 monitoring applications. It uses interchangeable smart probes and a native Ethernet or Power over Ethernet connection to the viewLinc system.

Replacement configuration: VDL200 is not always a direct one-for-one replacement for every DL2000 model. Confirm whether the existing logger uses only temperature and humidity or also uses an analog transmitter, door switch or alarm contact.
