The Watanabe TW-2X converts one DC voltage or current input into two proportional DC outputs for measurement and control systems.
The Watanabe TW-2X accepts a DC voltage or current signal and provides two proportional DC outputs. It is useful when one measurement signal needs to serve two receiving devices, such as a PLC and a recorder, subject to matching their signal and load requirements.
Powered by 24 V DC, the TW-2X combines the converter and terminal block in a compact unit for instrument-panel installations.
| Specification | TW-2X |
|---|---|
| Input | DC voltage or DC current |
| Output | Two outputs; DC voltage/current according to ordering specification |
| Power supply | 24 V DC |
| Accuracy | ±0.1% FS |
| Response time | 50 ms, 0–90% |
| Dielectric strength | 2000 V AC |
| Dimensions | 98 × 48 × 41 mm (H × W × D) |
| Weight | Approximately 130 g |
| Operating temperature | −5 to +50°C |
| Operating humidity | 90% RH or below |
FS means full scale. Specify the input range and both output ranges when ordering. Check the applicable load limits and wiring arrangement for the complete model code.
A typical arrangement sends one output to the control system and the other to a display or recording device. Both outputs represent the same measured input; this is not a two-input measurement instrument.
| Connection | Application example |
|---|---|
| Input | DC measurement signal from a compatible transmitter or signal source. |
| Output 1 | Signal to a PLC or controller for process control. |
| Output 2 | Signal to a recorder or indicator for monitoring. |
Confirm the required isolation between circuits against the manufacturer’s connection diagram, especially when the receiving devices have different grounding arrangements.

For applications requiring one output, compare the Watanabe TZ-1XA and TZ-5XA DC signal isolators.
