Vaisala HMM105 Digital Humidity Module

The Vaisala HUMICAP® HMM105 is an open-frame module for equipment manufacturers who need dependable humidity measurement inside an environmental chamber or incubator. Its separate probe assembly allows the sensing point to be placed inside the chamber while the circuit board remains in a suitable protected location.

The module communicates directly with the host controller through an I2C interface. The controller can read relative humidity or dew point, monitor device status, change operating parameters and carry out measurement adjustments without adding an external transmitter.

Designed for Chamber and Incubator Integration

The HMM105 combines a compact circuit board with a detachable probe head, M10 × 1 mounting thread and 300 mm flexible cable. This arrangement simplifies installation in equipment where available space, service access and the separation of electronics from the measurement area must be considered.

Full temperature compensation supports reliable humidity measurement across demanding chamber conditions. The probe can operate continuously at temperatures up to +180 °C and tolerate short-term exposure up to +200 °C, making it suitable for equipment that includes high-temperature cycles or heat sterilisation. The component board must remain within its specified operating-temperature range.

Quick selection: choose HMM100 when the chamber controller needs a conventional analog signal. Choose HMM105 when direct I2C communication and a compact detachable probe are required. Choose HMM170 for new demanding designs that need better accuracy, Modbus RTU, several analog outputs, longer probe cables or active condensation protection.
