Vaisala HMP60 Humidity and Temperature Probe

The Vaisala HMP60 is a compact, durable and cost-effective humidity and temperature probe for equipment integration, data loggers, incubators, glove boxes, greenhouses and environmental monitoring systems.

It provides 0–100% RH and −40 °C to +60 °C measurement ranges, low power consumption, interchangeable Vaisala INTERCAP sensor and optional Modbus RTU communication.

Vaisala HMP60 Humidity and Temperature Probe

The Vaisala HMP60 is a compact humidity and temperature probe designed for volume applications and integration into equipment produced by other manufacturers. Its low power consumption, durable stainless-steel construction and flexible output options make it suitable for both fixed and battery-powered monitoring systems.

The probe measures relative humidity from 0–100% RH and temperature from −40 °C to +60 °C. Typical applications include incubators, glove boxes, greenhouses, fermentation chambers, data loggers and environmental monitoring equipment.

The HMP60 uses the field-replaceable Vaisala INTERCAP humidity sensor, reducing maintenance time because the sensor can be replaced without recalibrating the complete probe.

Why Choose the Vaisala HMP60?

  • Compact Probe Design The miniature probe is suitable for installations where available space is limited.
  • Low Power Consumption Average current consumption of approximately 1 mA makes the HMP60 suitable for battery-powered applications.
  • Interchangeable INTERCAP Sensor The humidity sensor can be replaced in the field without returning the complete probe for recalibration.
  • Flexible Output Selection Choose from several voltage outputs, an optional 4–20 mA converter or RS-485 Modbus RTU communication.
  • Easy Cable Connection A detachable cable with a standard four-pin M8 connector simplifies installation and replacement.
  • Rugged Construction The sealed AISI 316 stainless-steel probe body is designed for demanding environmental conditions.
