The TOKICO PFA ultrasonic vortex flowmeter measures compatible chemicals, corrosive liquids and ultrapure water using PFA liquid-contacting construction.
The TOKICO PFA ultrasonic vortex flowmeter measures liquid flow using a construction intended for compatible chemicals, corrosive liquids and ultrapure water. PFA resin forms the liquid-contacting parts, and the meter has no moving components.
It is an inline meter installed in the liquid pipework. Select the connection size and measuring range for the actual fluid and operating conditions.
| Connection size | Accuracy | Maximum working pressure at 20°C |
|---|---|---|
| 3/8 inch | ±3% of full scale | 1.0 MPa |
| 1/2 inch | ±3% of reading | 1.0 MPa |
| 3/4 inch | ±3% of reading | 0.7 MPa |
| 1 inch | ±3% of reading | 0.5 MPa |
The listed fluid temperature range is 0–100°C. Pressure ratings above apply at 20°C; check the permitted pressure at your operating temperature.
The overall water-flow range is 0.3–150 L/min across the series. Each size has its own range, and viscosity affects selection. Do not assume every size covers the complete span.
For semiconductor wet-process equipment, chemical delivery or an ultrapure-water line, begin with the liquid specification. Provide the chemical name, concentration, temperature and expected flow before selecting the meter.
| Selection item | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Chemical compatibility | The complete fluid composition and its compatibility with all wetted parts and connections. |
| Flow and viscosity | Minimum, normal and maximum flow at operating temperature. |
| Pipe connection | Tube dimensions, material and required joint arrangement. |
| Operating conditions | Temperature and pressure, including start-up and cleaning conditions. |
| Electrical interface | Power supply and the signal required by the PLC, controller or monitoring system. |
| Installation | Available pipework space, orientation and access to the display. |
For a clean-process installation, also confirm the required cleaning procedure and contamination-control requirements. Material selection alone does not establish suitability for every chemical or process.
The older overview image uses the label “Applicable gases”; this product is specified for liquids. Use the size-specific table and catalogue for selection.
