Kofloc 6800 Back Pressure Regulator

The Kofloc Model 6800 Series is a compact back pressure regulator designed to maintain constant pressure on the upstream or primary side of a gas system.

When upstream pressure rises above the selected setting, the valve opens to release gas. As the pressure returns to the set value, the valve reduces the discharge flow. This makes the 6800 suitable for tank-pressure control, gas-mixing equipment and low-flow process systems.

Back Pressure Regulator Operating Principle

A back pressure regulator controls the pressure before the valve. It is normally installed downstream of the vessel, tank or process whose pressure must be maintained.
