Measure environmental and process conditions in cleanrooms, production areas, storage and equipment. Define what each transmitter will measure, then review the records and alarms required from viewLinc CMS. The GxP scope should be agreed with the engineering and QA teams.
Critical moisture measurement may be required in dry gases, drying processes and production equipment, alongside cleanroom humidity, temperature and pressure. Select low-dew-point instruments according to the process limits, pressure and installation arrangement.
Dry rooms and drying processes need measurements that cover the specified moisture limits. Select suitable dew point instruments, and review the monitoring locations together with temperature and pressure requirements.
Measure air conditions in server rooms, aisles and ventilation systems using suitable humidity and temperature instruments. Vaisala options also include differential-pressure measurement and TMI110 for cooling-water temperature. Select each instrument for its part of the air or cooling system.

Use suitable moisture-in-oil instruments to follow dissolved moisture and temperature in compatible lubrication, hydraulic or transformer oils. Review the readings against the equipment conditions and maintenance requirements.
Raw-biogas measurement and methane-slip measurement in upgrading offgas require different probe capabilities. Confirm the gas composition, concentration range and process conditions before selecting the instrument.
For exposed sites, the mounting position and installation conditions affect the measurement. Select suitable weather and wind instruments for the parameters required, and review how the readings will reach the monitoring system.
The choice depends on how often you need the reading and what you will do with it.
A fixed transmitter remains at the measurement point and sends readings to a suitable control or monitoring system. Choose this arrangement when the process needs continuous measurement. Recording and alarms depend on the connected equipment and configuration.
A portable meter is suitable for periodic checks, commissioning and troubleshooting at several locations. Select the probe and sampling accessories for the application, and allow the reading to stabilise before making a comparison.

For example, DMT153 can be considered when reviewing a DMT152 replacement. An older DMT340-series installation may require a suitable DMP probe with a compatible Indigo transmitter. The replacement arrangement depends on the complete model code and configuration.

The Vaisala XMP10 Series comprises compact humidity and temperature probes offering accuracy levels up to ±1% RH and ±0.1 °C for demanding HVAC, data-centre and critical-environment applications.
The probes feature analog or Modbus RTU outputs, a standard M8 connector, an IP65-rated body and compatibility with Vaisala Origo10 modular HVAC transmitters.
The Vaisala HMP110 is a high-accuracy humidity and temperature probe designed for demanding equipment integration, environmental chambers, data loggers, incubators and controlled-environment applications.
It provides ±1.5% RH accuracy, a 0–100% RH range, −40 °C to +80 °C temperature measurement, a chemically resistant HUMICAP 180R sensor and analog or Modbus RTU output options.
The Vaisala HMP60 is a compact, durable and cost-effective humidity and temperature probe for equipment integration, data loggers, incubators, glove boxes, greenhouses and environmental monitoring systems.
It provides 0–100% RH and −40 °C to +60 °C measurement ranges, low power consumption, interchangeable Vaisala INTERCAP sensor and optional Modbus RTU communication.
The Vaisala Origo10 Series comprises modular HVAC transmitters with interchangeable probes for humidity, temperature, CO2 and dew-point measurement.
Available with analog, Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP outputs, wall or duct mounting, an optional display and an IP65-rated enclosure.
The Vaisala HMD60 Series provides high-accuracy humidity and temperature measurement for demanding HVAC ducts and light-industrial applications.

The Vaisala Indigo520 Supervisor manages up to 100 compatible compact humidity and temperature probes through one host unit. It provides local visibility for the maintenance team and Modbus TCP communication for data centre BMS integration.
