Anritsu Meter Thermometers and Temperature Probes

Seacom supplies Anritsu Meter temperature measurement instruments. Our range includes handheld thermometers, surface temperature probes, specialised sensors and temperature data loggers. We help you select a suitable instrument and probe for the material, measurement location and operating conditions.

Whether you need to check a heated surface, measure a moving roller or record temperatures at several locations, choosing the right probe is just as important as choosing the thermometer.

Our Anritsu Meter Product Range

  • Handheld thermometers — portable instruments for production checks, maintenance and temperature troubleshooting.
  • Stationary surface temperature probes — contact probes for measuring moulds, plates, equipment surfaces and other stationary targets.
  • Moving and rotating surface probes — specialised designs for rollers, moving surfaces and wires.
  • Internal and immersion probes — sensors for measuring inside liquids, semi-solid materials and other suitable media.
  • Air temperature probes — probes designed for air measurement rather than surface contact.
  • Temperature data loggers — multi-channel instruments for recording and comparing temperatures over time.
  • Specialised temperature instruments — options include printer-equipped thermometers, fibre-optic thermometers and soldering-iron temperature probes.

Selecting the Right Temperature Probe

Start with what you need to measure. A probe designed for a stationary metal surface may not be suitable for a moving roller, a liquid or the centre of a food product.

  • Stationary surfaces: Consider the surface shape, available contact area and access angle. A and AX Series probes are among the options for general stationary surface measurement.
  • Moving or rotating surfaces: Consider surface speed, roller diameter and contact conditions. U, UX and SH Series probes offer different arrangements for these applications.
  • Small measurement targets: Check the sensing-head dimensions. CS Series micro-sensor probes are designed for small stationary surfaces.
  • Liquids and semi-solid materials: Select the appropriate immersion or insertion probe, considering depth, sheath material and temperature range.
  • Air measurements: Use an appropriate air probe, such as the AT Series, and consider airflow and response time.
  • Instrument compatibility: Confirm the thermocouple type, connector and required measurement range before ordering a replacement probe.

Applications and Measurement Tasks

  • Plastics and moulding: Checking mould and tooling surface temperatures during setup and production.
  • Rollers and moving materials: Measuring suitable rotating surfaces and moving wires with application-specific probes.
  • Electronics manufacturing: Checking small surfaces, heated components and soldering-iron tips with suitable sensors.
  • Food processing: Measuring internal product temperatures with an appropriate insertion probe.
  • Maintenance and quality control: Comparing temperatures, investigating process variation and recording inspection readings.
  • Testing and development: Recording multiple temperature points to assess how equipment or materials behave over time.
